The 196 is an afterschool program run between Mission Services and City School by Mohawk. The program is based on the theory, “healthy body, healthy food, and healthy mind.” A group of 15 students in grades six to eight participate in afterschool programming which provides homework help and additional programming to promote learning.
Please note, all volunteers need to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Each week, students come on campus and participate in programming in the gymnasium (sports such as basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, and badminton, OR other fun activities). We are looking for volunteers to help with these activities!
