A positive volunteer experience is our first priority. Whether you are volunteering with Mohawk or a community group, we encourage you to do your due diligence and ask the following questions before getting involved:
  • What health and safety protocols, including any COVID-19 related protocols, are put in place to protect volunteers?
  • How will I receive training for this volunteer role?
  • Who will be my direct supervisor? Who can I contact if I have questions or concerns and my supervisor is unavailable?

Description:

The Study Smart program allows students to learn new skills and habits to help them be successful for the semesters ahead. There are 9 modules that students can self-select; each module takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

Students can access Study Smart on MyCanvas by logging in, clicking on Account and then MyCanvas - Open Courses, and typing Study Smart into the search bar.

  • Virtual Learning
  • Growth Mindset
  • Note Taking
  • Learning Strategies
  • Healthy Habits
  • College Resources
  • Studying and Test Taking Tips
  • Setting SMART Goals
  • Boosting Productivity

Complete all nine modules to receive your Program Completion Badge! Complimentary to the course are Study Smart workshops and events are are held live with staff from the Learning Support Centre.
