A positive volunteer experience is our first priority. Whether you are volunteering with Mohawk or a community group, we encourage you to do your due diligence and ask the following questions before getting involved:
  • What health and safety protocols, including any COVID-19 related protocols, are put in place to protect volunteers?
  • How will I receive training for this volunteer role?
  • Who will be my direct supervisor? Who can I contact if I have questions or concerns and my supervisor is unavailable?

Description:

The Language and Culture Centre (LCC) is your destination for meeting new friends, getting involved through volunteer experiences, joining in for social and cultural events throughout the year, and find supports for your transition to life in Canada.

We are currently looking for volunteers to join our team during the Fall. We have Social Media Content Creator & Event Support Positions available.

If you have lived experience with any of the following festivals/celebrations, please apply today.

Want to know more about what work you will be doing?

- Social Media Content Creators will work with us on Instagram and other platforms by writing posts and recording videos.
- Online Event Assistants will help us brainstorm ideas for cultural events, research, and co-host virtual activities.
