A positive volunteer experience is our first priority. Whether you are volunteering with Mohawk or a community group, we encourage you to do your due diligence and ask the following questions before getting involved:
- What health and safety protocols, including any COVID-19 related protocols, are put in place to protect volunteers?
- How will I receive training for this volunteer role?
- Who will be my direct supervisor? Who can I contact if I have questions or concerns and my supervisor is unavailable?

Creative Advertiser
Volunteer Advertiser needed to help create and edit videos, pictures and flyers for the Thorncliffe Park Women's Committee to promote the committee's programs such as the Friday Bazaar, Tuesday's Children Garden Drop-In Program, etc.
Advertisers must be studying or graduated from an advertising program, or an arts equivalent. A resume must be sent to the email below.
The marketing meetings will be held at the Thorncliffe Park Library (48 Thorncliffe Park Dr.) from 2:30 P.M - 8:30 P.M on Monday and Wednesday.
Advertisers will also be required to take part in the weekly Friday Bazaar at R.V Burgess Park (46 Thorncliffe Park Dr.) from 2:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.
Responsibilities:
- Take part in meetings and bazaar
- Create promotional material that is required
- Brainstorm new ideas to promote the committee's program further
(Any equipment the advertiser requires will be provided upon asking)
