Bus Team - CityKidz

Overview: CityKidz is seeking individuals to provide support to kids attending Saturday sessions, both on the Big Red Bus and in our theatre during the show. Through assisting with pickups/ drop offs and spending time with the kids in the theatre, you have the opportunity to impact the children by creating a safe, fun and loving environment as you build deep and intentional relationships.

• Assist in supervising kids on the bus and during the CityKidz theatre show.
• Connect and build relationships with the kids you are on the bus with.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children during the entirety of the program.
• Lead by example through your words and actions to the children, in reflection to the messages presented during a CityKidz show.

• A passion for children to overcome barriers in their life and to dream big dreams.
• Excitement for singing and dancing with the kids to encourage participation.
• Must be responsible and a good role model.
• Must understand our organization values and follow all CityKidz policies and procedures.

• Communication: Bus team members develop a strong sense of communication as they effectively convey instructions, ideas, and information in a way that children can understand and respond.
• Leadership: As a Bus team member, you will guide and supervise a group of children, developing leadership qualities that help keep kids engaged, organized, and motivated.
• Adaptability: Bus team members learn to adapt quickly to changing situations or unexpected events here at CityKidz.
• Problem-solving: As a Bus team member, you will have opportunities to solve problems through fostering a harmonious environment each time you address conflicts, find solutions to behavioral issues, and manage various situations that arise.
• Teamwork: Working alongside other team members, you have the opportunity to collaborate with one another as you supervise, engage in activities, and build personal relationships with the children we serve.


1-5 hours per week.
