Resource Development - CityKidz

Overview: As a Resource Development Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative tasks and outreach efforts of CityKidz, primarily focusing on donor stewardship, information booth representation, and support for the Gift of Christmas program.

Primary Responsibilities:
ADMIN:
• Make thank you calls/letters for third-party donors, Miracle Sunday contributors, and Gifts In Kind recipients using templates. Record touchpoints in the Tap system (E-Tap can only be used on site).
• Write and mail thank you cards for third-party donors and Miracle Sunday contributors using templates. Record touchpoints in E-Tap.
INFORMATION BOOTH:
• Represent CityKidz at various events, predominantly during the Spring and Summer months.
• Provide information through print copies, direct to the website, and to keep staff person(s) informed.
GIFT OF CHRISTMAS (GOC):
• Drop off and pick up GOC Banner to/from City Hall.
• Wrap GOC drop-off boxes for Canadian Tire and Police Stations, affix GOC signage.
• Print GOC signage for CityKidz offices and drop-off boxes, hang as appropriate.
• Pick up GOC Toys and help to sort at CityKidz.
• Call potential GOC community partners to offer extra toys, provide instructions for form, print completed form, and communicate with relevant staff.
• Drop off extra GOC toys to potential community partners as required.
• Make thank you calls and letters for GOC donors, record touchpoints in E-Tap.
• Address and mail out GOC thank you letters.

Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate effectively with donors, volunteers, and staff members in a friendly and professional manner.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks such as making phone calls, writing emails and letters, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
• Dependability and commitment to fulfilling assigned tasks and responsibilities consistently and on time.
• Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, while also being able to collaborate effectively with team members when necessary.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions, maintain records, and ensure that tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately.
