- How will I receive training for this volunteer role?
- Who will be my direct supervisor? Who can I contact if I have questions or concerns and my supervisor is unavailable?

Big Brothers Big Sisters – Volunteer Group Mentor
Big Brothers Big Sisters Serving Grand Erie, Halton and Hamilton is seeking enthusiastic volunteer mentors to support elementary-aged youth through our school-based group mentoring programs.
As a Group Mentor, you will work alongside other volunteers to facilitate engaging activities and meaningful discussions that help youth build confidence, social skills, healthy relationships, emotional awareness, and leadership skills. Mentors play an important role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where young people can learn, grow, and connect with positive role models.
Commitment:
-Approximately 1 hour per week during the school day
-8-week program sessions throughout the school year
-Opportunities available across Hamilton, Halton, Brantford, and surrounding communities
-Placements assigned based on volunteer availability and school locations
-Screening and training completed prior to placement
