Centre for Entrepreneurship Student Ambassador
Want to get involved in entrepreneurship at Mohawk College? Become a Centre for Entrepreneurship Student Ambassador!
The Centre for Entrepreneurship is looking for enthusiastic, creative and engaged students to join our Student Ambassador team. Ambassadors will play an important role in helping us bring entrepreneurship opportunities, events and resources to the student community across Mohawk College.
What will you do?
Student Ambassadors will have the opportunity to:
- Support the planning, setup and execution of Centre for Entrepreneurship events
- Welcome and engage attendees at events and help create a positive participant experience
- Assist with event logistics, registration, room setup and takedown
- Help promote Centre for Entrepreneurship programs, workshops and events across campus
- Share entrepreneurship opportunities with fellow students and encourage participation
- Support social media and other marketing initiatives
- Represent the Centre for Entrepreneurship as a friendly and enthusiastic student voice on campus
Events you may support include:
- Small Business Week Marketplace
- Build Your Business in AI
- Monthly Building your Business in the Trades Lunch & Learn
- Build your Business Bootcamp Series
- International Women’s Day Breakfast
- Annual Pitch It to Win It Competition
- Other Centre for Entrepreneurship workshops, networking events and initiatives throughout the year
What will you gain?
This is a great opportunity to develop and demonstrate skills in event planning, communication, marketing, teamwork, leadership, networking and entrepreneurship. You’ll also gain hands-on experience supporting professional events, connect with entrepreneurs and community leaders, and become more familiar with the resources and opportunities available through the Centre for Entrepreneurship.
This experience can be added to your Co-Curricular Record (CCR) and is a great way to build your resume while getting involved in the entrepreneurial community at Mohawk College.

Students from all programs and campuses are welcome! You don’t need to be studying business or entrepreneurship — we’re looking for students who are reliable, enthusiastic, collaborative and interested in getting involved.
