We are looking for volunteers to help during the Fall 2019 Convocation Ceremonies.
Below are the volunteer details. If you are interested, please click the link at the bottom of this page by Friday, October 11.
Ceremony Date & Times:
Thursday, October 17th - 9:30 AM, 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Volunteer Responsibilities Prior to the Convocation Ceremony:
1. Information Booth - Located at the Square
2. Graduate Ushers/Greeters - Various areas around the college
During convocation (which lasts approx. 1 ½ hours you are free to take a break, grab something to eat or stay in the back of the theatre and watch your fellow classmates graduate.)
Volunteer Responsibilities After the Convocation Ceremony:
1. Photo Booth – The Joyce Centre
Attire: Please wear a white shirt and black pants or skirt if possible. You will receive a convocation sash at the beginning of your assigned duty
Meals: If you are volunteering for two ceremonies in a row, a meal will be provided.
A volunteer letter of acknowledgement will be provided upon request.
If you are a first time volunteer for convocation, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled shift for a brief orientation.

For 95 years the Hamilton Naturalists' Club has been appreciating, studying and conserving the wild plants and animals of Hamilton. They provide a human voice for our wildlife and natural areas with over 600 members. The Club traces its history to the founding of the Hamilton Bird Protection Society in 1919.

Walksmart Volunteers promote a safe environment for our campus community by providing safe walks for students, staff and faculty to their cars, bus stop or house in the surrounding area of the campus.
Volunteers must be able to commit to regular shifts per week to ensure consistency in service and to the individuals they walk.
